NZ - steady steps in the shaky isles

Its my 2nd week here in Christchurch and the work is steadily increasing and Sundays are the only days off so looking forward to tomorrow. A few of us are heading into the mountains tomorrow to some thermal springs. Last sunday was the fur seal display further up the island and a few photos with some of the blokes.

There is not much to report except for the daily earthquakes ranging from about 3 to 4.5. You can only feel the ones over 4. The last reasonable size one was 4.5 this morning about 9.30.  There are about 5-8 a day.

This is a picture of our accommodation, its a bit unstable but better then everyone elses place

As we are here to work I dont have many tourism stories or photos to share.
This is the view out the office back window

Well thats it for this blog.
In summary, Kiwis are good people, weather great and its a nice place to be.
